The
Federation of Community Associations for South Tyneside has been supporting
community associations since 1974. The management committee of the Federation
is made up of representatives from member CA' s including both voluntary
and paid workers.
The aim of the federation is to provide regular contact between community associations, a platform to share ideas and problems, discussion on relevant issues, an information base of people skills, advice and support, an equipment swapshop and provide grass roots training.
