The Award was set up by John McKay who was a Community Education Officer from 1974-89.  We were pleased to welcome John and Mrs McKay to the ceremony.

The King George School Music Dept provided the evening’s entertainment, with 20 young people singing and playing instruments.

Cllr Mrs Edith Battye congratulated volunteers for their efforts and welcomed Gwilym Lloyd-Williams, Asst Director of Education.

A sumptuous buffet was partaken as the musical entertainment resumed and a good night was had by all.
